II. Content
The short anonymous article reports on the successful attack of Lt. von Lindeiner on the camp of the Ngoni war leader Chabruma in the district of Songea. Although the wounded chief was able to get away, 16 of his men died. His family and property became the booty of the German troops. Major Johannes argues that the situation in Songea had calmed down, while Hauptmann von Kleist reports that there were still problems in Pangwa. Major Johannes thus decided to advance into the region.
III. Further Remarks
The report is based on a government telegram from Dar es Salaam.
