II. Content
Father Künster describes some of the consequences of the Maji Maji rebellion in the southern region. He refers specifically to the destruction of the mission station, the "joy" at the return of the missionaries, forced labour, hunger and the problems of African Christians. In his opinion, the mission was stronger than ever after the rebellion.
III. Further Remarks
Father Künster belonged to the Benedictine mission society of St. Ottilien and had worked previously at Nyango station.
